Good Shepherd offers many entertaining and stimulating activities for its residents.

The Activity Staff try to encourage residents to participate in the group activities which are held in
nearby dayrooms. Participation is always optional. Residents who prefer to remain in their rooms are given other  options for activities, such as books, magazines, crossword puzzels, etc.  There are plenty of choices for residents to make.

There are some annual events that residents look forward to, such as the Walking Tour of downtown Mason City landmarks, the Harvest Ball and the Spring Fling. Each month a Center-wide birthday party is held for those residents whose birthday occurs in that month.
