Good Shepherd Health Center staff cook three well-balanced and nutritious meals a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Residents have a choice of two entres at each meal. While it's nearly impossible to please everybody's taste, the dietary staff at Good Shepherd try to accommodate as many preferences as possible. Special note is given to menu suggestions that are expressed at monthly resident council meetings.
Meals are served in five dining areas in the Health Center to allow easier access to the dining areas for residents and to create a home-like atmosphere.

Good Shepherd's Dietary Department also provides special therapeutic diets as specified by their attending physician and their individualized care plan. A full time dietitian is on staff to ensure that the meals are nutritious and balanced, and to ensure therapeutic requirements are followed.
Good Shepherd's Dietary Department also prepares the Sunday Senior Smorgasbord that is opened to the public and served around noon in the Gregory Lindon Hall (Chapel) of the Health Center. Approximately 200 seniors and their guests attend this dinner each Sunday.
Cornerstone Assisted Living tenants also benefit from the services of Good Shepherd's Dietary Department. Their meals are prepared daily in the Health Center kitchen and served in the Cornerstone dining rooms.
Needless-to-say, Good Shepherd's Dietary Department serves many people with diverse tastes.
