Supporting the excellent  care provided by Good Shepherd's nursing staff are the housekeeping, laundry and maintenance staff.

Resident rooms, clothing, and bedding are clean and fresh-smelling. The indoor temperature is comfortable thanks to well-maintained heating and air conditioning systems. These are some of the things that Good Shepherd's environmental staff handle to ensure a safe and healthy building for the residents.

Housekeeping staff sweep and scrub floors, clean and sanitize toilets and lavoratories, and vacuum carpets on a daily basis. Floors are waxed twice a year to keep them looking new.  And, yes, housekeeping does do windows - even the valances.  All five dining room tables, chairs and floors are cleaned after every meal.
Dirty laundry is picked up and taken to the on-site laundry twice daily.  Bed linen is changed twice weekly or daily if necessary.

Resident personal clothing is marked for identification; picked up, laundered and returned on a regular basis.  Family or friends can do personal laundry if this is preferred.
