Good Shepherd Auxiliary
Members from churches within Good Shepherd's service area form the Good Shepherd Auxiliary. The primary mission of this group is to assist the Activity Department with the monthly birthday party, other special parties; and fundraising to supplement the Activity program. Activity Department Aides
Good Shepherd conducts many group activities for its residents, ranging from crafts to the ever-popular Bingo on Wednesday afternoons. The job varies with the activity. Contact the Activities Department at 641-424-1740.
Entertainers
There's always a need for volunteer entertainers such as musicians, singers, etc. Contact the Activities Department.
Resident Advocate Committee
This committee is selected by Elderbridge Agency on Aging and serve as advocates for the residents at the Health Center. They meet quarterly as a group and report any concerns to Good Shepherd's adminisrator so that problems can be eliminated. These advocates meet with residents on a periodic basis to ensure that they receive quality care. Contact Elderbridge at 424-0678.
