A FREE reassuring phone call to seniors living alone in North Iowa.

Good Shepherd, Inc. has offered a free Telephone Reassurance program since 1975 to any North Iowa senior who lives alone and wants a daily reassuring call. The call takes place anytime between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. every day of the week. They offer reassurance to family members who live apart and can't consistently check on the senior citizen.

 Senior Smorgasbord

Every Sunday between 11:45 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., Good Shepherd, Inc. serves a delicious smorgasbord of meat, salads, vegetables, fruits, breads and dessert to seniors age 62 and older and their guests. The popular Senior Smorgasbord has been in existence since the mid-1980's, and is held in Gregory Lindon Hall (Chapel) at the Health Center. Cost is just $4 for seniors and $5 for their quests.
